What is debt removal?
You can use debt removal if you want to delete the debt you have added to your members, but keep this debt on the record. A record of the removed debts is kept, but does not affect the balance.
How do I remove debt?
To remove the debt of more than one user & company in Fonzip, go to People > Users & Companies from the menu on the left. Filter the people you want and click the Debt / Payment Operations button, then select Remove Debt.
On the screen you will see, you will see how many people's debt can be removed. If the target user / company number is 0, an error will be given.
In the Search Criteria section, you can enter the information of the debt you want to remove.
As indicated in the warning on the page, only direct matching debts are removed. If you enter more than one criterion, all criteria will be viewed together.
Enter the details of the debt you want to remove and click Continue.
If no entries matching the criteria you selected are found, you will receive a warning. If there is a matching record, you can see these records on the screen that appears for your review.
If the records are suitable for you, you can click the Remove Debt button below.
You will be shown a warning message one last time. If you approve, your bulk debt removal will be queued and you will be notified by the system when it's finished. You can follow the situation from the Tasks menu at the top.
