This article explains how to use the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) information notice or any other user agreements your organization requires within Fonzip.

From the Settings / Agreements menu, you can upload agreements to Fonzip with content defined by you.

You can add your data processing policy, GDPR Information Notice, or the content of any other agreement by simply copying and pasting it into Fonzip. For all processes that involve the collection of personal data (donation pages, event registrations, application forms, membership fee payment pages, etc.), you can make approval of these agreements mandatory.

The legal texts you add can be displayed on all your pages, or only on selected page types or specific pages. For example: “Agreement XXX should only appear on event pages, while Agreement YYY should only appear on the membership registration form.”

If you edit and save the content of an existing agreement, the changes will be recorded as a new version number, and the updated version will automatically be displayed on all pages. Users who log in will be required to approve the new version of the agreement if they haven’t previously done so. Therefore: PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE AGREEMENTS UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

You can update the contents of existing agreements with new versions, archive an existing agreement, or create an entirely new agreement.

Archived or active agreements, as well as their previous versions, cannot be deleted from the system. Users who have given their consent can always access these agreement texts from their personal profiles. For more details, please refer to our Agreement Approvals & Records article.

Please do not add an additional consent/agreement option here for email or SMS communication permissions. The necessary communication permissions are automatically added to your organization’s pages by Fonzip. For more information, please see our Communication Permissions article.
