What is Email Sending Account?
The sending account is the email address from which emails are automatically sent by the system from your Fonzip account, either automatically or manually. This address should not be a personal address like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc., but rather an address belonging to your organization's domain. For example: [email protected] or [email protected]
To create your sending address, click on the + Create Sending Address button in Email & SMS > Settings > Email Sending Address menu.
DNS Settings
Many email servers do not accept or put emails in the spam folder without SPF, DKIM and DMARC DNS records.
For healthy email sending from your organization's account, you need to have the following DNS records added by your hosting company.
SPF record as TXT
If you already have an SPF record, you just need to add the following information to your existing spf line:
include:spf.brevo.com
If you don't have a record, add the following as TXT:
v=spf1 +a +mx include:spf.brevo.net ~all
This record is sufficient for your main domain.
Verification Record (as TXT)
For yourdomain.com, enter:
brevo-code:40f0f5a54ef929fa58ede77b01ec25b3
DKIM Record (as TXT)
For mail._domainkey.yourdomain.com, enter:
k=rsa;p=MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQDeMVIzrCa3T14JsNY0IRv5/2V1/v2itlviLQBwXsa7shBD6TrBkswsFUToPyMRWC9tbR/5ey0nRBH0ZVxp+lsmTxid2Y2z+FApQ6ra2VsXfbJP3HE6wAO0YTVEJt1TmeczhEd2Jiz/fcabIISgXEdSpTYJhb0ct0VJRxcg4c8c7wIDAQAB
DMARC Record (as TXT)
For _dmarc.yourdomain.com, enter:
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:[email protected]
If you already have an up-to-date DMARC record, you may not need to make any changes. The DMARC record is mandatory by Google and Yahoo, and if you encounter any verification issues, please contact us.
These settings are also available at Email & SMS > Settings > Email Sending Address > Details section. You can click on the fields to copy the values to the clipboard.
