How do I approve/reject a pending form response?

How do I access pending answers?

If you receive a response to a form that requires admin approval, this response will automatically become pending approval. When such an answer comes

  • Via email and push notification if your notification settings are turned on

  • With the Form Awaiting Approval warning in the notifications section in the top menu you will be informed.

If you click on these notifications, you will be directed to the Pending Approval section for form responses. You can also access this section from the Forms > Form Responses > Pending Approval section on the left menu.

Click on the Answers button to the right of the answer you want to check here.

Alternatively, in Forms > Form List section, forms with a pending response will display a warning ( + (number of answers pending approval)) next to the Transactions button on the right. If you click on Answers in the Transactions section, you can access all the answers of the form, then you can filter the ones waiting for approval from the filter above.

Review and approve/reject answers

On the answers page that opens, you can see the answers waiting for approval with the hourglass icon on the left. After reviewing the incoming answers, you can either approve or reject using the Transactions button at the top right or using the approve/reject buttons at the bottom of the page.

What happens if I approve the answer?

By assigning a member number to the person who answers the form, you enable it to be added to your contact & institution list. Otherwise, if you want to send an e-mail confirming your approval, select send e-mail and select the e-mail you want to send. Finally, click the Confirm button at the bottom right. Confirm the checkbox that appears and confirm the answer.

What happens if I decline the answer?

The person who answered the form is not added to your contact & institution list. If there is a payment, the payment is canceled/refunded. If you want to notify the person that it has been rejected, select send e-mail and select the e-mail you want to send. Finally, click the Decline button at the bottom right. Confirm the checkbox that appears and reject the answer.
